These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of tftclarity.cn and its related web application (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by your local law, and legally able to agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization.
2. What the Service provides
tftclarity helps Chinese-speaking Teamfight Tactics players understand aggregated game data through natural-language queries. Features may include:
- Champion item builds and individual item comparisons.
- Composition rankings and patch trends.
- Sample counts, average placement, Top 4 rate, win rate, and data-quality warnings.
- Optional AI-assisted parsing and evidence-grounded explanations.
- Multi-turn follow-up queries that retain anonymous short-lived context.
- User-requested Riot ID lookup, recent-match visualization, final-board details, and evidence-grounded post-game review.
- User-created Player Pools, share-code copying, Pool dashboards, and descriptive comparison of selected samples.
The Service is intended for pre-game reference, post-game learning, and long-term patch understanding. It does not connect to a live game client or read a user’s current board state.
3. Game-integrity boundaries
You may not use the Service, or attempt to modify it, to create an unfair advantage. The Service does not and must not be used to:
- Provide dynamic instructions based on current in-game actions or state.
- Scout opponents’ boards, compositions, hidden players, or predicted next actions.
- Bypass a player skill test or dictate a single required decision.
- Create an unofficial MMR, ELO, or alternative skill-ranking system.
- Access data in a way prohibited by Riot Games policies or applicable law.
The Service presents multiple static choices and explanatory context. You remain responsible for your own gameplay decisions.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attack, disrupt, overload, probe, or bypass security, access controls, quotas, or rate limits.
- Use automated scraping, bulk extraction, or mirroring without prior written permission.
- Upload malware or submit unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or privacy-invasive content.
- Attempt to obtain server secrets, API keys, other visitors’ data, or administrative functions.
- Misrepresent the Service as official, sponsored, approved, or operated by Riot Games.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its datasets unless we and the relevant rights holders have expressly authorized it.
We may limit or block requests that threaten the Service, other users, third-party providers, or compliance obligations.
5. Data, AI, and third-party services
The current product uses third-party MetaTFT aggregate and PBE player-match data, OP.GG-backed NA player lookup and matches, and official or public static TFT sources. Normalized match facts support recent-match review and user-selected Player Pools. We plan to migrate supported account, match, league, and aggregate flows to Riot services after receiving appropriate Production and RSO access.
AI features, when enabled, interpret structured evidence. They do not replace the underlying numerical result. AI text can still be incomplete or inaccurate, so check the displayed samples, scope, data source, and warnings.
Third-party data, AI, hosting, and network services may be delayed, incomplete, changed, rate-limited, or unavailable. Their separate terms and policies may apply. Riot approval of tftclarity would not grant rights to any unrelated third-party dataset.
6. Riot IDs, match history, and account connection
The Service does not require a tftclarity account and does not currently use Riot Sign On. A visitor may enter a Riot ID for themselves or another player to request available recent-match information, and may add Riot IDs to a Player Pool. Entering a Riot ID does not prove account ownership and must not be used to impersonate, harass, de-anonymize, or target another player.
Player and Pool results describe only the matches returned by the current provider and are not an official profile, skill rating, or complete account history. Player Pools are user-selected samples and must not be represented as server-wide statistics or evidence of causation. We are applying for the appropriate Riot Production access and RSO review; features may be changed, restricted to an authorized account, or removed if Riot policy or an approval decision requires it.
7. Intellectual property
We retain rights in the original tftclarity software, interface, text, and analysis to the extent permitted by law. You may not copy or reuse those materials except as allowed by law or an applicable open-source license.
tftclarity isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games, and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.
Riot Games, Teamfight Tactics, and related names, artwork, characters, and game assets belong to Riot Games or their respective rights holders. MetaTFT and other third-party names and content belong to their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you or to tftclarity.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including when a game patch, provider change, legal requirement, security concern, or Riot policy requires it. We do not promise that any feature, region, dataset, or historical record will remain available.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or game results. Statistics describe past samples and do not guarantee future performance. Patch changes, sample bias, region differences, and third-party outages can materially affect results.
Nothing in the Service is professional, legal, financial, or gambling advice. The Service does not support betting or gambling.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, tftclarity and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, loss of data, loss of opportunity, game results, account action, or third-party service failure arising from use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may restrict or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, attacked the Service, or caused harm to users or providers. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. By using the Service, you acknowledge that policy.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, while preserving any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue in good faith.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide reasonable notice for material changes. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.
